We got tired of watching people wait for doctors who were already running late.
Direct Doc started with a simple complaint everyone has had at least once: booking an appointment doesn’t stop you from sitting in a crowded waiting room for an hour past your slot. So we built the thing that was missing — a live view of the queue, and a video option for when you don’t need to be in the room at all.
Vision
A country where the nearest doctor is never more than a live queue position or a video call away — in the biggest cities and the smallest towns alike.
Mission
Cut the two things patients dread most about seeing a doctor — not knowing when it's their turn, and travelling for a consult that could've happened on a call.
A few things we won’t compromise on.
Built for real clinics
Every queue estimate is based on how long a doctor is actually taking that day, not a fixed slot length nobody follows.
In-person or on video, your call
Some visits need a hands-on exam. Others don't. We built both paths as first-class, not one as an afterthought.
One number, not a maze of menus
Every service — booking, ambulance, pharmacy, a question about your bill — reaches a real person over WhatsApp.
Telemedicine, done properly
Video and audio consultations follow India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, so what happens on a call is treated with the same seriousness as an in-clinic visit.
